2019 Ford Escape pricing revealed, standard AEB, new ST-Line model

The 2019 Ford Escape will be bolstered by a sporty ST-Line model and safety upgrades across the board when it arrives in September 2018.

Autonomous Emergency braking, or AEB will be standard across the revised Escape range, which has been welcomed by ANCAP CEO James Goodwin:

“We’re seeing more and more brands incorporate AEB (Autonomous Emergency Braking) and other active driver assistance features as part of their model refreshes, and this is an important shift.
The market has matured and it is encouraging to see brands such as Ford recognise the need to upgrade safety specification as part of their mid-cycle updates.”

The ST-Line will be distinguished via 18-inch charcoal alloys, dark accents to the front grille and fog light surrounds, stainless steel pedals, ST-Line scuff plates and ST-Line floor mats. An optional ST-Line technology pack will be available from $800, adding adaptive cruise, forward collision alert, lane keep assist, lane departure warning and tyre pressure monitor.
